My Little Box December Christmas Edition

For the last 6 months or so, I've subscribed to My Little Box, a monthly box subscription that works in the same way as your standard beauty box, although this one is a little different. Each month, a beautifully designed box arrives on your doorstep, filled with a curated collection of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products. Each month brings a different theme, (you can see their previous boxes here) and for December it was, of course, Christmas!

What's Inside The December My Little Box?

Glad you asked. Inside December's festive edition, there are three beauty items; a beautifully scented shower oil, perfume, and an adorable eyeshadow duo, followed by three lifestyle items; a Christmas candle, a salted caramel spread, and a pot of Kusmi Tea. Finally, there was a cute little bangle/cuff in there too - not exactly my cuppa tea but cute nonetheless. More details below!

L'Occitane Shower Oil

My Little Box December Christmas Edition Loccitane Shower Oil

I cannot wait to use the shower oil from L'Occitane! I love shower oils anyway as they make my skin feel increidble, and usually use the Rituals Fortune Oil. This shower oil from L'Occitane transforms when in contact with water into a foam that cleanses the body, and is enriched with provence almond oil, which explains the amazingly fresh but warm scent!

Hyberbole Eau De Parfum by Corrรจges

My Little Box December Christmas Edition Hyperbole Perfume

I'm not really one to switch up my perfume depending on the season. If I like a perfume, I'll wear it, whether it's a floral scent in winter or not! This perfume however, is definitely perfect for Winter. Containing a mixture of spice, tobacco, vanilla, cacao and patchouli, My Little Box say this fragrance is 'full of womanly allure with just a drop of masculine edge.' I'm no perfume connoisseur, but I'd definitely buy the full size of this!

My Little Beauty Christmas Melody Smoky Eyes Duo

My Little Box December Christmas Edition Eyeshadow

I'm a serious sucker for a smoky eye. This tiny little compact comes with two satin shades, a deep brown/plum and a dusty pink. I'd expect the two shades would work well with any skin tone, both are quite pigmented after a tiny finger swatch, and they feel super smooth too. These shades would work for me for a day look, but I prefer to go a little darker when it comes to a smoky eye for an evening. Either way, it's a really nice little duo to take on Christmas trips with you!

Winter Morning Candle - 'Feu De Bois'

My Little Box December Christmas Edition Candle

This cute little candle's scent is 'Feu De Bois', which is Firewood in French. I haven't burned this yet, but the packaging alone makes me want to display it with pride in my bedroom! From smelling the candle straight from the jar, I wouldn't say I get the 'firewood' vibe. It smells pretty sweet, I'd almost expect it to be something more like cookie scented, although I guess it could smell pretty different once it's burning!

Tiptree Salted Caramel Spread

My Little Box December Christmas Edition Salted Caramel Spread

Probably the item I am most excited about in this box, although I'm not 100% sure on how to use it yet. The mini jar of salted caramel goodness is handmade in small batches, with no artificial ingredients whatsoever. The My Little World monthly mag included in the box suggests drizzling the spread over your Christmas Pudding or spreading on toast or waffles.. number two definitely sounds pretty tempting.

Kusmi Tea

Word of warning, open this carefully, as I managed to spill this all over my bed... This beautiful little tin (which btw, I want to remember to keep hold of for trinkets!) contains Kusmi Tea's limited edition Tsarevna blend, a black tea with festive orange peel, liquorice, vanilla and spice. I haven't tried this yet as I'm waiting for a tea strainer to arrive (first world problems) but it smells like actual Christmas in a tin.

If you don't already subscribe to My Little Box, I would definitely recommend taking a look. Each month, a direct debit of £13.95 leaves my account (which is more than worth it for all of this!) and a few days later a beautiful box of goodies arrives, it's the best mid-month pick me up!
