Before working at my current job, I didn't take skincare too seriously. I was a micellar water and sometimes a dollop of moisturiser kind of girl, but learning about skin care products every day has drastically changed that! I never really took the time to learn why I need to take care of my skin, but understanding how products work on my skin and what benefits they have has completely converted me into a skincare addict!

La Roche-Posay are an amazing skincare brand founded in La Roche-Posay, France. The secret behind their skincare is the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, which is included in all of their products. This miracle water has been used in the village for hundreds of years, from bathing in the water to soothe eczema and psoriasis to drinking the water to help soothe side effects for those undergoing treatment for throat cancer. The land that the spring sits on and its surrounding land has been bought to ensure that nothing can get into the water to ruin its benefits.

I was lucky enough to attend a training session with La Roche-Posay, and the only negative I have is that I wish we had all day! There was so much to learn and so many products to look at! After hearing about the products and history of La Roche-Posay, they kindly gave each of us some products to take home and try out, and I am head over heels for the brand! Here's what I've been using...

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Eyes

This eye cream is great as it is not only super moisturizing thanks to the Shea Butter included, but it is also great for soothing irritated eyes, which I tend to get very often due to hayfever, allergies, and staring at a computer for 9 or more hours a day! You can apply this to the whole eye contour area and immediately feel a soothing effect! The Toleriane range is perfect for sensitive skin too.

La Roche-Posay Tolerine Ultra Intense Soothing Care For Face And Eyes

This daily moisturiser is, again, perfect for sensitive skin and includes Neurosensine which soothes irritated areas of the skin, along with the amazing La Roche-Posay Spring Water known for its soothing qualities.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray

This spray works in place of a toner, and is perfect for oily blemish prone skin. I spray on after cleansing and it leaves the skin mattified ready to be moisturised. I also find that its great to spray onto the face when you're home having a no-makeup-day to freshen up a little!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo

Effaclar Duo has been the product everyone has been talking about from La Roche-Posay, and to be honest I can see why! An anti-blemish cream, Effaclar Duo is used to combat the key signs of blemish prone skin and improve the overall texture and look of the skin. I have been using this across the tops of my cheeks where I tend to get small breakouts and blocked pores and within 3 weeks I saw a huge improvement!
